How I get Information

In todays society we see that Information can be gathered from just about anywhere. Places like your laptop, newspapers, and even your phone. We are very fortunate as a society to access what we want when we want in a matter of seconds and the news plays a major role in todays world.

SnapChat is one of the ways you can get information in seconds. There are many different news channels and other companies that post stories about whats new and whats going on and this information is seen by a multitude of people. Snapchat is used all over the world which makes it one of the larger platforms for people to access their news.

The Newspaper is another way I receive information. The newspaper is one of the oldest out of all the ways of receiving information dating back to 1690. It is seen as a way that our older generations receive the news as it is what they are most accustom too. It shows up to my door and or can be picked up in various locations like the store and even the airport.

Instagram is a way a lot of current events can be seen in both pictures and videos. With a simple friend request and acceptance all the pictures and videos that you put up can instantly be shared with your friends on the app. Being an app it can be easily accessed and a lot of people these days have their phone on them at all times. I would say that out of all forms of gathering information I spend the most time on Instagram.

YouTube is a great and easy way to receive information. Anyone can make an account and prominent news channels and people also have accounts so you can stay up to date on things. YouTube is great cause videos that are uploaded will always be there so if you missed something you wanted to see on TV or wanted to know a certain topic you could just check YouTube.

News applications for apple iPhone and other phones are newspapers but in the electronic form. At the tap of a finger rather than a mail man coming to your house users can subscribe to certain newspapers that they are interested in. With most of the population having a hand held cellular device this means that this form of receiving information is very widespread although I do not use it as much as the other ways.
